One Piece is a Japanesese shonen manga from 1997 inspired and illustrated by Japenese manga artist Eiichiro Oda. The series has been featured in weekly anime magazine, shohen jump.

In 1999 it hit Japanese television being broadcast by Fuji Television since October 20th 2009. The series was then licensed to 4Kids entertainment but was heavily editted in order to make the show more “american”.

Over 158 million copies have sold making it the most sold manga title of weekly magazine Shohen Jump and they accredit it as their most popular shohen manga title.

The show encompasses a 17 year old boy, Monkey D. Luffy, who got super natural abilities by eating a magical fruit from a magical tree. He has a crew of pirates which he calls the Straw Hats.

In the last episode of One Piece we saw Luffy go head to head with the two snake sisters who ultimately beat him up. However, this wasn’t before he used a power of Haki which he didn’t think he had. In One Piece 414 he will go against the snake sisters a second time and it will be decided whether he will win or lose.
